How to Actually Start
Don't read cover to cover unless that's genuinely how you prefer to read. Here's the smarter approach:
- Read the Introduction (Chapter 1)Understand the philosophy and how the 8 domains connect. Takes about 20 minutes.
- Take the Life Navigator AssessmentIt's in Appendix A. This 9-domain quiz scores where you are right now. It takes 5 minutes.
- Open the 90-Day PlannerBased on your assessment scores, the planner tells you exactly which chapters to prioritise and in what order.
- Set up the LifeOS DashboardOpen lifeos-dashboard.xlsx and follow the setup instructions on the first tab. Takes 10 minutes. This becomes your command centre.
- Start Day 1The planner tells you what to do. Follow it. Trust the process. Check in with yourself weekly using the trackers.

Write in the margins
The PDF is designed to be annotated. Highlight, scribble notes, mark pages. Make it yours.
Actually use the trackers
Reading is great. Tracking is transformative. The habit tracker in Appendix D is where the real change happens.
Focus on 2–3 domains first
Don't try to master all 8 at once. Pick your lowest-scoring domains from the assessment and start there.
Join the community

Re-read after 90 days

Device & Software Guide
Which devices can I use the PDF on?
Any device with a PDF reader — Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android, Kindle Fire. Adobe Acrobat, Preview (Mac), and built-in phone readers all work perfectly.
How do I get the ePub onto my Kindle?
Two ways: (1) Use the "Send to Kindle" desktop app — drag and drop the .epub file. (2) Email the .epub to your Kindle's personal email address (find it in Settings → My Device Info).
The Excel dashboard looks broken on my screen
The dashboard is optimised for desktop Excel or Google Sheets. If something looks off, try opening it in Google Sheets (upload via drive.google.com) — it usually renders better there.
Can I print the worksheets?
Absolutely. All worksheets in the appendices are print-ready. Use A4 paper for the best results. The posters (pre-order bonus) are designed for A3.
